  Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 11 January 2015) was a Swedish actress, who was active in American and European films, famous for her beauty and stunning appearance. Her role as Sylvia in Federico Fellini's 1960 film La Dolce Vita (1960) has made her a household name. Ekberg mostly worked in Italy before becoming permanent residents in 1964.Anita Ekberg was born on 29 September 1931 in (Sweden), the sixth child of eight. Anita worked as fashion model throughout her teenage years. Ekberg entered the Miss Malmo competition in 1950 at her mother's urging. Nicole Scherzinger was born on June 29th 1978 in Honolulu & raised in Louisville, Kentucky. At a performing arts high-school she took home The Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest and performed in numerous plays at The Actors Theatre of Louisville.
